My school picnic

We went for a picnic to a planetarium called Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium. We did not go straight to the planetarium. First, we went to a solar hut.I always thought electric houses were better than solar houses in looks. That day(17/12/08)I found out that was not true.

After looking around inside the house, we went out of the house with two people, who were our guides, and they showed us a solar cycle. It was like an ordinary cycle, except that it had a flask-like thing attached to it, which was the battery. On the left side of the battery was a keyhole. You slipped in the key and the motor would start. Last of all, we went to the planetarium. In the planetarium, we watched a show about the solar system. After that we got on the bus and went back to school.

My cycle ride

Last week,I went on a cycle ride to a restaurant called Infinitea.
It was a really hard cycle ride in a place full of gradients. The toughest one was on Palace Road.

I really did not eat much there. I only ate garlic bread. I did not have a leg ache as my mother said I would. I rode 8 1/2 kms to the restaurant on Cunningham Road. I was supposed to ride back in the car with my mom. But I felt good enough to cycle back. So my dad and I cycled back again for a total of 17 kms.

Ritvk's wierd thoughts

You know,sometimes I have some really weird thoughts, dreams and friends. Especially when I'm in Mangalore. Like one day I dreamt that my friends and I were on the beach, rowing away to glory. Suddenly, a huge waterfall came into view. Luckily, we were at the bottom of the waterfall. Then something very unlucky and dangerous happened. A huge barrel fell off the edge
of the waterfall... look, I know you can only imagine this scene, but the scene was this. My friends were drenched from head to toe with seaweed hanging from our hair! Isn't it amazing how quickly a nightmare can change into a funny thought?

And let me tell you about a weird friend. He is nicknamed Sam. He's a complete weirdo. He's my best friend when we're not at school, and not even a friend of mine at school! One day I've asked him: "How come you're such a good friend of mine at home and not at school?" And he replied: "Because I have too many friends at school and not enough at home." But, pretty soon I found out that he was not weird but, instead, he's just silly! "Just how silly is he?" you ask? I'll tell you next time.
